Bhanumathi Narasimhan, affectionately known as Bhanu Didi, is the sister of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a global humanitarian and peace ambassador. Sharing his vision for a stress-free, violence-free world, she has dedicated over three decades to social transformation as the Chairperson of Women’s Welfare and Child Care programs for The Art of Living, a not-for-profit NGO operating in 180 countries.
A meditation teacher under her brother’s guidance, Bhanumathi empowers individuals to manage stress and foster self-confidence through meditation and service. With a Master’s degree in Sanskrit literature, her interests include singing, dance, painting, ikebana, cooking, and gardening. She resides in Bangalore, India, with her family and travels globally to spread messages of peace and compassion.
